The new Saints Row Boss Factory is ready to customize a criminal

Out ahead of the game, Deep Silver has launched the “Boss Factory”, a demo of sorts, where you’ll create yourself a proper Saints Row villain.

That… is a tiny blur-effect

Boss Factory allows you to nip and tuck your Boss to your heart’s content. Along with outfits, hair, footwear, accessories and body options, asymmetrical face customization is included for the very first time so you can really get the creative juices flowing. Players also have the option to choose from one of eight voice options for their Boss, and can choose from scores of emotes to add that extra flair.

Once you’re happy with your creation, you can save it for later when the game launches, or you can share your creation with the world right now and also download other player characters at SaintsRow.com. After sharing a character from Boss Factory, players will receive two free helmets for use in the game.

Deep Silver press release

Sound good? Well it’s even… gooder. Boss Factory also has its own hub at SaintsRow.com. It’s there that you can browse galleries of uploaded criminals, and even download ones that you dig for use in the final game.

But even if you don’t want to do any of that, you’ll still want to at least register. That’s because when you do, you’ll get the “the exclusive Marshall Rocket Launcher”. And that little piece of hardware will be ready to go when Saints Row hits.

That’s not too far off by the way, as Saints Row reboots the series on the Xbox Series X|S, PS5, PS4, Xbox One, and PC on August 23rd.
