Trailer: Supernatural western Weird West coming to consoles and PC in January

It’s almost time to get weird, as in Weird West. Devolver Digital and WolfEye Studios’ twisted, creepy western aRPG, is set to hit consoles and PC in January.

That’s a little weird

Sheriff WolfEye Studios and their slack-jawed deputy Devolver Digital have announced that Weird West, their upcoming action RPG experience set within a surreal vision of the developing frontier, is coming to PC, PlayStation and Xbox on Jan. 11. To coincide with the news, the bucking broncos have opened pre-orders on Steam and released the first part of a brand new video series. WolfEye Studios creative director Raf Colantonio walks through an overview of the game in the first of a series of deeper dive videos.

Devolver Digital

Thinking about picking up Weird West? You might want to pre-order. Doing so will net you a horse named Calamity, who will double your starting inventory size. Even better, Cal is fast and will get you to your objectives all that much quicker. But wait that’s not all! She’s also loaded up with stuff, right off the bat, like “lockpicks, bandages, tools and a Golden Ace of Spades upgrade token.” Yeah, so you want Calamity.

About Jason

Jason's been knee deep in videogames since he was but a lad. Cutting his teeth on the pixely glory that was the Atari 2600, he's been hack'n'slashing and shoot'em'uping ever since. Mainly an FPS and action guy, Jason enjoys the occasional well crafted title from every genre.
