Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 coming to Switch in June

Tony Hawk’s revival is coming to the Nintendo Switch, and pretty soon. Expect to see the THPS 1+2 collection landing on the console in June.

Skate on the go

Arriving on the modern gaming scene in summer 2021, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 was a revelation. The set of games restarted a comatose franchise, and did so in style. To put it simply, it was a good time to be a fan. Well, it was if you weren’t also restricted to playing on Nintendo’s current console.

The Switch didn’t receive a version of the reborn bundle pack at the time, though that’s finally being rectified. Activision has announced that the new edition will be arriving on June 25th.

This is the same set of titles that saw release last year, so if you did play those, then you’ve played this. If you haven’t though, or are just looking for a portable version, then you’ve come to the right place.

As the fastest Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater game to sell 1 million units[1] on previously released platforms, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 blends all the original levels, pro skaters, old-school tricks, a killer soundtrack with old and new beats and more that gamers remember from the ‘90s and ‘00s with new, beautifully recreated levels.

In addition to the upcoming Switch edition, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 is available now for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. You can check out our review of the Xbox One version here.
