Get some Halloween VR deals with HTC’s Vive

If you’re looking to spend some quality time in virtual reality this Halloween, HTC has you covered with a series of bundles and deals.

HTC touts VR as the best format for spooky games with plenty of scares and that seems like a pretty accurate statement. After all, virtual reality is the only format where everything but the game is cut out.

If that’s just what you’re looking for this Halloween (or any time soon really), then you’ll be thrilled to know that HTC Vive has you more than taken care of. The company has a pair of deals that’ve just been released, covering both games and hardware.

Far and away the better one though, is for those looking to buy-into VR (qualifying headsets only) for the first time. Prospective Vive buyers are in for a treat with a trio of free games, and a 2 month gratis subscription to the Viveport Infinity service.

Games included are “Arizona Sunshine, Five Nights at Freddy’s VR: Help Wanted, and Paranormal Activity: The Lost Soul.” So there’s some good stuff to be had. And Viveport, by the way, is usually $8.99 USD a month. So that end of it is a nice savings as well, plus you get to try out the service.

As for the second offer, that’s for those who already have a headset and are “new and existing annual subscribers including those who upgrade from their monthly membership”. Anyone who fits that requirement can get The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners for free. Just make sure you log into the app and run the game before the promo period is over (ends November 1st). More info here.

And on top of all of the above, Vive has also crafted a little list of the scariest VR titles for you. You can check that out here.
