Robotech Battloid statues incoming from Icon Heroes

Collector level Robotech statues are coming up next year from Icon Heroes, complete with interchangeable parts and movable heads.

Robotechnology

It seems like slowly but surely Robotech is making its way back into the public sphere. We’ve seen a few toys pop up, as well as a comic, and now some excellent looking collector statues.

Forged by Icon Heroes, who make a line of DC TV figural statues you’ve probably seen around, the Robotech series so far consists of two statues, both of which have yet to arrive.

The first is probably the biggest fan favorite Valkyrie from the classic animated show, that being Rick Hunter’s. The second is no slouch either though, with the Battleoid version of Roy Fokker’s ride. Both statues stand in at around 14″ tall (from bottom of base to tip of antenna), and come complete with extra parts for tailoring their look.

The heads on both statues can move, and you’ll get a total of four arms for each in with the statues. A nice point here too, is that the arms don’t simply swap in and out at a singular point. They’re built with octagonal connectors, so you can position them in a few different ways. Nice for those that like custom options.

Of course, you’ll get certificates of authenticity in with both too, and these are hand painted as well. With all of this though, and at the size they are, they’re not cheap.

Each Battleoid will run you $200.00 USD. If you’re dying for some more Robotech though, that might be a small price to pay for something that looks this cool.

Pre-orders are open right now, and you can expect these to land at retail in about a year, in quarter 3 of 2020.
