Disney Store exclusive Venom figure available now

The latest addition to Diamond Select Toys’ Disney Store exclusive line, Venom has officially arrived in-store and online.

We are Disney

Nothing says “Disney” like a long-tongued, sharp-toothed psychopath. But hey, that’s what you get when you invite Marvel Comics to your family-friendly party. Sometimes you’re going to get more than what you bargained for. That kind of sums up this new Disney Store exclusive Marvel Select figure from DST.

This version of Venom is actually built on top of a previous release from a few years ago. One of the best versions of Venom to hit pegs, the Marvel Select version of Eddie Brock included a ton of accessories. So it’s not exactly a bad thing that this one plays off of it. But if you were expecting a complete rehash, you have a nice surprise in store.

The Marvel Select Venom Action Figure is based the character’s appearance in Marvel Comics, and measures 7.75 inches tall with 16 points of articulation. It includes three interchangeable heads, each based on published comic book art; three pairs of interchangeable hands; a removable back attachment that can hold two articulated spider legs; and seven additional tendrils of symbiote that can be attached at different locations on Venom’s back attachment and arms.

That’s a pretty different toy than the initial release. Honestly, it’s kind of impressive, and it instantly makes this one Venom figure that even owners of that first version will want to check out. He’s available right now, both online and in brick and mortar Disney Stores.
