Conan to cross over with Marvel characters for series of variant covers

Conan the Barbarian is back at Marvel Comics, and he’ll be meeting up with some of the publisher’s finest… for some variant covers.

The Cimmerian returns

Well, we’re almost there. Conan returns to Marvel for the first time in decades this January with a new series. And before his first month back, the barbarian will also kick off a series of variant covers that’ll adorn the rest of Marvel’s line.

These won’t be your run of the mill pieces either, as they’ll have the warrior crossing paths with a few of Marvel’s biggest stars. Spider-Man, Hulk, Captain America, Ultron and more will all feature opposite Conan. He’ll take on the heroes the December, the month before that fateful first issue, followed by a “villains” series in January.

December’s covers look a little something like this:

  1. AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #11 by GIUSEPPE CAMUNCOLI
  2. AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #12 by MARK BAGLEY
  3. AVENGERS #11 by CARLOS PACHECO
  4. BLACK PANTHER #7 by RICHARD ISANOVE
  5. CAPTAIN AMERICA #6 by BITCH GUICE
  6. DEADPOOL #7 by MARC LAMING
  7. FANTASTIC FOUR #5 by GERALD PAREL
  8. IMMORTAL HULK #10 by INHYUK LEE
  9. THOR #8 by PATCH ZIRCHER
  10. UNCANNY X-MEN #6 by J. SCOTT CAMPBELL

As for January’s slate, that will feature:

  1. AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #14 by GREG LAND
  2. AVENGERS #13 by MIKE MCKONE
  3. CAPTAIN AMERICA #7 by DAVE JOHNSON
  4. IMMORTAL HULK #12 by TBD
  5. SPIDER-GWEN: GHOST SPIDER #4 by GORAN PARLOV
  6. THOR #9 by GREG SMALLWOOD
  7. TONY STARK: IRON MAN #8 by VALERIO SCHITI
  8. UNCANNY X-MEN #8 by DALE KEOWN
  9. VENOM #10 by HUMBERTO RAMOS
  10. X-FORCE #2 by JEROME OPENA

About Jason Micciche
