Get a first look at the larger than life gameplay for Micro Machines World Series

It’s going to be a tiny, little vehicular brawl for it all in Micro Machines World Series. The smallest cars and trucks on earth are about to square off.

Just like the real thing…

Is it me, or does Micro Machines look way better than it has any right to? I mean, that looks pretty terrific from al angles – including some excellent graphics. Then again, I’m a pretty big fan of the whole ‘toy car racing’ thing, so I’m already into it.

You might have noticed some pretty famous toys in that trailer too, and there’s a reason. While Galoob was the license holder for Micro Machines years ago, it’s Hasbro who runs the line now. And that opens up a game like Micro Machines World Series to all kinds of fun cameos. Hungry, Hungry Hippos is just the start, as you’ll be able to play as a G.I. Joe vehicle (Cobra HISS) too. Cool stuff.

So this won’t be a simple retread. And developer Codemasters says this will be a proper updating of a classic series.

Executive Producer Chris Gray said, “Micro Machines World Series is a fresh new take on the franchise that is great fun for previous players and those new to Micro Machines. It’s a firm fan favorite and we are delighted to be bringing it to the PS4, Xbox One and PC. In addition to the return of the classic Race and Elimination modes, we are extremely excited by the new Battle Arenas. Having 12 players in the same match, all fighting it out with a variety of vehicles and crazy weapons is great fun. Gamers are going to love it.”

Watch for the teensy green flag to be waved as Micro Machines World Series is set to race onto the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on June 23rd.
