Sega 3D Classics Collection Coming to Europe

The European localization of the Sega 3D Classics Collection is almost over.

Europe has a tendency to be forces to wait when it comes to receiving ports of Japanese games. It’s understandable that the localization process takes a large amount of time and money, but even then the waiting periods are long. Notably, PAL localizations tend to come out months, sometimes even a whole year after the North American versions. Thankfully, European fans of Sega are about to have their patience rewarded. The Sega 3D Classics Collection will be released in Europe on November 4th.

The Sega 3D Classics Collection is a collection of eleven Sega games from the 80s and 90s. The games in the collection include Galaxy Force, Altered Beast, and gaming icon Sonic the Hedgehog. It also includes two games that are being released for the first time in Europe, Maze Walker and Power Drift.

3D is not, however, indicative of three dimensional gameplay. It is because the games have been remasters for the 3DS, and the games titular 3D function. As mentioned before, the collection is already out in North America, and was released in Japan last year. No doubt, European fans who have been waiting a long time for their version of the collection will be pleased to learn it is on its way.
