Eyedol Returns For Killer Instinct Season 3

The final character for Killer Instinct season 3 is none other than Eyedol, the boss of the original title. Rocking a very serious head injury, Eyedol is a behemoth compared to the rest of the cast. Perhaps not as overpowered as he once was, Eyedol still seems to be a fearsome character. Not only does he utilise his trusted club, but also has some other tricks up his sleeve.maxresdefault (4)

From the debut trailer, Eyedol’s main weapon of choice is the aforementioned club. This club has some decent coverage allowing for players to poke the opponent. In addition, it seems like he has a club and run move giving him some decent mobility. In all, sounds like this club can pack a decent punch. If clubbing someone to death gets a bit boring, how about utilising some magic to win the match.

Eyedol seems to have access to some mystical powers stemming from his club. These powers can electrocute your opponents or summon vast amounts of meteors to rain down. What is rather interesting about this magical side to Eyedol is that this maybe a different stance. Before Eyedol starts performing magic, he bashes his head perhaps signalling he has changed weapons. Even Eyedol’s ender in this ‘form’ keeps him rather still and rooted. If this is a different stance, it will lead to some intriguing situations where players will have to utilise both stances effectively.

Previously a poll was created looking at possible characters for the roster. Interestingly enough Eyedol appeared as one of the options amongst both Killer Instinct veterans and guest characters. As Eyedol is the end character for season 3, there is still a small possibility of a season 4.

Eyedol will be available for Xbox One and PC from the 22nd of July for season 3 ultra-edition holders. Combo-breaker holders can expect him on the 29th of July.
