Xbox Live Games with Gold announced for March

Xbox’s Major Nelson, Larry Hryb, has announced the March’s Xbox Games with Gold. For the Xbox One, Xbox Live users will receive Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments from Frogwares and Focus Home Interactive. In this game of intrigue and mystery, players will take the role of the famous detective, Sherlock Holmes. Explore the globe as Sherlock Holmes as he attempts to solve six different cases. From a spetactular theft to a bloody murder, players will have complete freedom on how to solve these cases. will attempt to solve a solve a murder case or find a thief. Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments will be available starting on March 1st and runs through the month of March. Starting on the 16th, the other free game will be Lords of the Fallen.

From CI Games and Deck 13, comes the adventure game, Lords of the Fallen. In a land of purity there is no room for sinners. Those deemed not worthy, must live outside the walls of the cities. This is how society works in Lords of the Fallen. After a millennia of peaceful rule, a dark force has awakened and is threatening the Worldly Realm. The Demonic Rhogar Legion has risen and threatens to plunge the Worldly Realm back into an era of evil. Nothing seems to stop this army so the citizens of the Worldly Realm turn to Harkyn, a man who had been cast out because he is a sinner. Now it is up to Harkyn to rage a violent and bloody war as he tries to save a land that has turned its back on him. Harkyn seeks redemption as he must defeat the Lords of the Fallen. This game is available starting March 16th.

Starting on March 1, Xbox 360 users will receive Supreme Commander 2. From Gas Powered Games comes this real-time strategy game set in a distant future. The campaign follows a solider turned traitor as he takes on United Earth Federation after he was ordered to kill his wife. Players will build up armies to wage war across land, air and sea. Collect resources and upgrade armies before it is too late and the UEF takes over the galaxy.

Starting on March 16th, Xbox Live users will be able to pick up the classic hit from Gearbox and 2K Games, Borderlands. This wonky and crazy adventure takes place on Pandora as four vault hunters are trying to find the treasure of all treasures. The impressive loot system of Borderlands will have players collecting more guns than they shake a stick at. For those gamers that may have missed the first entry into the world of Borderlands, here is your chance to pick up the game that began it all.
