Looks like Need for Speed will be pulling onto consoles in November

Speed freaks, get ready. EA’s reboot of the fast and furious racing franchise Need for Speed is on the way for this Holiday.

Not officially announced as of yet, so you have to take this with a grain of salt, but it nonetheless looks as though Need for Speed is revving its engines for an early November release date. The game, which reboots the franchise for EA, was only confirmed to exist recently, and has yet to be delved into any further by the publisher.

Xbox.com though, just couldn’t keep the news to itself apparently. Much like with the new Xbox controller design, the release date for NfS slipped out when a post went up which blew the date wide open (if it is indeed correct), and said that it’ll be hitting Microsoft’s console on November 5th, 2015.

Now, as MCV points out, that’s a Thursday, which would peg the UK release for Need for Speed on Friday the 6th, and a US release (probably) on Tuesday the 3rd. Whether this date will hold at all, or hold across all platforms, we have yet to find out.

As of now though, it sure looks as though you’ll be able to get in quite a bit of racing before the dreaded Holiday crush begins.
