New Nintendo Direct to shed some light on upcoming games

Nintendo will be hosting another Direct presentation tomorrow, with an eye towards future games on the Wii U and 3DS platforms.

Just what will be talked about and/or shown off at this newest Nintendo Direct presentation is still, as usual, under wraps. What we do know though is that the show will cover what’s upcoming on the family of Nintendo consoles. So, with that in mind, what’s coming up?

Well, Super Smash Bros and Captain Toad jump to mind right way since they’re both on target for this Holiday Season. Captain Toad might be in the mix, as well as the NES Remix Pack and some Amiibo talk, but we already know a great deal about SSB (watch for our preview coming soon by the way), so what else could there be on tap? Smart money is on the promising shooter Splatoon as well as Yoshi’s Wooly World (which I’m really looking forward to). Both should be big Wii U releases and definitely will be touched on in some way at the Direct.

Maybe if we’re lucky, we’ll also get some info on stuff like Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, Xenoblade Chronicles X and that mysterious new Legend of Zelda Wii U title, but you’ll have to tune in and see.

As for the 3DS, you can definitely expect to hear something about Pokemon: ORAS and Phoenix Wright Trilogy. Past those two though, I’m not really sure what Nintendo could be chatting up, as there’s not a ton on the near horizon for the 3DS. Of course, there’s always the chance that there’ll be a big surprise announcement, so make sure you’re watching.
