Toys R Us is your Trap Team HQ, early openings, midnight release and more on the way

Skylanders Trap Team launches this coming Sunday and Toys R Us wants to be your number one spot for all the Skyladery goodness.

TRU has always been at the forefront of the Skylanders business, ever since the first edition launched it’s been one of the best places to catch new figures and get in on special deals for the toys, accessories, and even the games. It only makes sense of course, since the store chain is the biggest toy store in the world, let alone in the US.

The forthcoming Skylanders Trap Team shall not be excluded from the four-star treatment either as TRU has plenty in store for this coming launch weekend. The store has announced that a third Skylander in Deja Vu will be joining their exclusive ‘Legendary’ lineup of figures that already includes Jawbreaker and the Nightmare Express Adventure Pack. In addition, all Toys R Us stores will open their doors at the bright and early hour of 8am on Sunday the 5th of October (this coming Sunday), so as to better facilitate an entire day of Skylanders play. And if that’s not early enough for you, some stores will open at midnight the night before, so you can get a real jump on things.
