Sega dances with the dead in new Typing of the Dead Overkill DLC

The Dancing with the Dead lexicon pack went live last week as downloadable content for the survival/typing title from Sega. So, how well do you know your tunes?

This newest lexicon pack replaces all the words you’d normally find in a usual game of Typing of the Dead Overkill with lyrics, artist names, musical terminology, and names of instruments. To put it simply, you’re going to have to know your music industry stuff (or just be a grey typist) to take out this army of undead and mutants.

But I think I’ll just let Sega lay it down for you with one of the best PR emails we’ve ever gotten here at BG. Spit some rhymes blue crew:

Yo, back up now and give a Mutant room,

Dancing with the Dead has just gone boom,

It’s the Lexicon Pack with the musical theme,

With flesh eating creatures that’ll make you scream.

It’s for Typing of the Dead: OVERKILL,

Replaces words and phrases with lyrics, so ill,

Because where words fail and music speaks,

We be totin’ a machine gun to ice these freaks.

So pack it up pack it in, let me begin,

At just $2.99 you may think we trippin’,

But from 10:00 AM PST the DLC goes live,

And it’s here we belong, fighting to survive.

This is London calling to the faraway towns,

Don’t hesitate; don’t let them strike you down,

But we been rhymin’ and rappin’ too long,

So for more information check SEGA.com.

Word.

Word indeed. Typing of the Dead: Overkill’s Dancing with the Dead lexicon pack is available now to add onto your game via Steam for $2.99 USD. You can grab it here.
