Longtime comic scribe Greg Rucka’s tale of weirdness lands on the racks this week, courtesy of Dark Horse Comics.
A beautiful girl wakes up in an abandoned subway station with no memory of how she got there. When men try to hurt her . . . they wind up dead. Where did she come from? And what is she capable of?
Rucka has been at DC, Marvel and just about everywhere for a long time now and comic fans probably know his work pretty well. Even so though, you’ve probably never seen something like Veil from him before.
Steeped in the macabre, Veil sounds like a tale that should appeal to any comic fans who are of the horror tilt just fine. The main character’s power set sound delightfully unique too, so this should be, at the very least, worth a look.
Veil #1 from Rucka and artist Toni Fejzuladrops into comic shops and Dark Horse Digital this week, on March 5th.
