Nintendo unveils 2013 release list for Wii U & 3DS

The new year is looking like a pretty good one for the Nintendo family of consoles. A few big name exclusives framed by a slate of third-party offerings are all on tap for 2013.

Maybe the only unfortunate spot in what’s to come is that the Wii U looks like it will continue to be on the receiving end of ‘updated’ titles that are already available on other platforms. Some of those games will undoubtedly be welcome to those who passed on them the first time around, but some are a little puzzling, having been around for a good long while already (The Amazing Spider-Man?).

In any event (and rehashes aside) the original content and ‘new release’ games are coming and should make the faithful smile. And is that Pandora’s Tower I see on the eShop?
