Terrifying new Man of Medan launch trailer arrives

It’s almost time for one of the best looking horror titles in a while to hit retail. Check out the launch trailer for Man of Medan.

Anthology

Officially, Bandai Namco’s Man of Medan is titled The Dark Pictures Trilogy: Man of Medan. I’m not exactly sure what “Dark Pictures” might allude to, though you’ll get a hint in the trailer below. As for the “Trilogy” part, that’s a little easier to guess.

Man of Medan is the first in what is a proposed series from Supermassive Games, one focused on making you cringe in fear. While what comes next is a mystery at present, the story here has indeed been revealed.

It’s suitably creepy too, taking place on an abandoned ship miles out to sea. A haunted ship…

The first in an anthology of horror games developed by Supermassive Games, the masterminds behind 2015’s Until Dawn, and published by industry leader BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc., The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan is a tale with numerous outcomes. Players must navigate carefully as every playable character can live or die depending on the choices made in-game, leading to a multitude of possible endings and near-limitless replayability. Man of Medan is helmed by a talented cast of actors, including stars Shawn Ashmore (X-Men, Quantum Break) and Pip Torrens (The Crown, Star Wars: The Force Awakens), whose in-game likenesses are rendered in eerily vivid detail.

Man of Medan press release

Ready for a good scare? The Dark Pictures Trilogy: Man of Medan is ready to haunt your Xbox One, PS4, or PC as of this Friday, August 30th.
