Nintendo Mii’s have invaded New York

An army of Nintendo Wii U avatars invaded the Big Apple over the weekend to ring in the arrival of the new console. You think they had any luck getting a cab?

Now, please understand, these pictures are not for the squeamish as they feature giant headed cartoon characters given flesh stalking the streets of Manhattan.

As you can see, even the Nintendo World Store in Rockefeller Center wasn’t safe from the Mii invasion as they quickly took over and dominated the queue of folks waiting for the chance to grab a new Wii U. Will this unrelenting assault ever stop?!

Actually, yes. It’s kind of over now. The Mii’s were just in town for the launch of the Wii U on Sunday and now they’re just… gone. Which does make you wonder when they might be popping their grotesquely large craniums back up again. Stay on your guard!

Oh, and the Wii U is available now, if you can find one. Good luck with that.
