Axiom Verge is old school gaming fun without the controller breaking rage, a modern metroidvania game that evolves gameplay while recalling the fun of old school gaming.

Pillar is definitely a one of a kind sort of game. It has all the makings of being a brilliantly thought out journey through a wonderfully decorative landscape, except one thing, no one has any clue what they’re doing!

Apotheon is a 2D adventure platformer, reminiscent of Castlevania and Metroid, that capitalizes on style and story to push beyond genre limitations.

Jack’s of all trades are usually masters of none. Hand of Fate though is a master of every single one of them and a can’t miss game.

Transistor is nearly flawless from beginning to end. The science-fiction, role-playing, action game exceeded my high expectations and solidifies Supergiant Games’ position as masters of indie development.

The daddy of survival horror returns (again) with a bang.

An epic tale of… pinball?

Alien: Isolation looks not to the second Alien film (you know, the one with the Colonial Marines?), but to the first, in an attempt to create a good old fashioned sense of creeping horror for gamers.

Combine the cheesiest B-Movie dialogue and forced humor, and bundle that together in a rail shooter release and what do you get? You get Viktor Kalvachev’s Blue Estate.

Killzone returns yet again with an all-new story and (mostly) new setting for the launch of the PlayStation 4 with a game that’s visually spectacular, but ultimately somewhat stilted and rough around the edges.
