Classic adventure game Syberia freezes up the PSN

The PC adventure title is on the way for the PS3.

Is it me, or is the PS3 getting a lot of play this week? In any event, Syberia is more than likely a game that you’ve got some memories of if you were PC gaming in the early 2000’s. First released in 2002, the game sets players in the role of American lawyer Kate Walker, who’s firm has purchased a toy factory in the European village of Valadilène. On her adventures, she comes across an inventor, an artificially-intelligent machine who becomes her companion, and a mysterious series of settings, which all culminates in… mammoths?

Now the game has arrived on the PSN for the PlayStation 3, in the form of the first game in the series. Not just a port though, the game has seen a graphical upgrade and some new features in the gameplay department. So if you’ve already played and enjoyed this trip through the frozen European winter, chances are you might want to try out this new version.

You can grab a copy right now, and it’ll cost you $14.99 USD.
