Three more tracks revealed for game Stage Tour

Fresh off of an appearance at SDCC last weekend, upcoming rhythm game Stage Tour has a trio of additional track reveals.

RedOctane Games is in the midst of rebirthing the rhythm game genre, and it looks like the developer’s newest is shaping up nicely. That game would be Stage Tour, a title that looks like it might provide some familiar gameplay for those who’ve been fans of the company’s legacy.

The game has had a series of track reveals to date, and is just coming off of an appearance at San Diego Comic Con. But even with that high-water mark, RedOctane isn’t resting. This week saw a trio of additional tracks get reveals, all of whom include newly added, hard rocking bands.

Said tracks would be:

• “The Motherload” — Mastodon
• “The End” — Mammoth
• “Blind and Frozen” — Beast In Black

The trio of tunes ups the track count for the game to 19. From the looks of it, Stage Tour doesn’t look to be settling on any particular era of music either. The above are joined by songs from the likes of Avril Lavigne, Weezer, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and others. So there’s some heavy variation in there. And while we’re at it, we’ll add that this is also not the end of the announcements.

RedOctane says that genre fans can keep an eye open, citing that more “songs will be revealed in the coming weeks”. As you can see in the image above too, there’s an August 5th date attached to that advisory. We imagine there’ll be more afterwards too, since the game’s not set to arrive for a few months.

Stage Tour‘s launch should be happening some time this holiday season. You can look for it then, to debut for the PC, XBOX Series X|S, PS5, and Switch 2.
