Rhythm gaming is back, thanks to RedOctane’s Stage Tour. The latest trio of tunes brings the confirmed tracks to 16.
Rock and roll, it’s Stage Tour
If you missed the news, yes, rhythm gaming is back in action. And when we say “rhythm gaming”, we mean of the musical sort. Stage Tour is the game we’re referring to by the way, and it’s set to hit consoles and the PC courtesy of RedOctane Games. No, you didn’t read that wrong.
Genre fans know the previous incarnation of the developer well, or at least they should. After all, it was a very similar name that was behind Guitar Hero. That legacy studio was closed a while back, but has essentially been revived in RedOctane Games. So while this new Stage Tour isn’t related to the classics directly, it sure seems to have the pedigree.
We’ve seen a few tracks revealed to date, but this week the game gets even bigger with drop #4. That comes with the addition of three more songs, with “Siren” from Castle Rat, “Broken Dreams, Inc.” by Rise Against, and Slipknot’s “Phychosocial”.
That brings the total confirmed tune list to 16, which you can see in its entirety below.
