SDCC ’26: Hasbro to produce Legend of Zelda figure line

The Legend of Zelda is about to get a whole action figure line for itself from Hasbro. Even better, the first look will be at Comic Con.

Legend of Zelda adventures onto toy shelves

When was the last time that we saw action figures from Nintendo’s classic Legend of Zelda series? While it hasn’t exactly been decades, what fans have gotten to date has been more along the lines of a few offerings here and there. A cohesive series of figures though? We can’t ever remember seeing one of those. That’s kind of crazy when you think about it.

After all, The Legend of Zelda first released for the NES way back in 1987. It was a monster hit right off the bat, and has since spawned a massively popular series of games that’s just about to see another entry with a remake of the N64’s Ocarina of Time. With all of that, you kind of would have thought that there would have been action figures by now. Well hold that thought, because Hasbro is seemingly about to make just that into a reality.

Just revealed yesterday, the toy giant has announced a deal for a 6″ scale line of Legend of Zelda figures. And even better, we won’t have to wait too long to see them in the plastic flesh, as the first three will be debuting at next week’s San Diego Comic Con taking place from July 23rd through the 26th.

Which game will the new Hasbro line play off of? Or might it feature more of an all-star lineup?

“For decades, The Legend of Zelda franchise has captivated fans through its deep lore, unforgettable characters and enduring sense of discovery,” said Billy Lagor, President Toys and Board Games at Hasbro. “By combining Nintendo’s iconic storytelling with Hasbro’s leadership in action and role-play, we’re delivering toys that invite fans to play, explore and forge their own epic adventures.”

Hasbro press release

While details are scant right now, we do know that the Legend of Zelda line won’t be one and done. Hasbro says that fans can expect the deal to be a “multi-year collaboration”, starting off in 2027. Just when specifically they’ll be hitting pre-orders and subsequently landing on shelves though, we don’t know. So basically, stay tuned.
