Making his way from Fist of the North Star to Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is Kenshiro. And before he arrives, here’s a fresh trailer to check out.
Kenshiro rips into the City of the Wolves
SNK’s latest fighter, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, is about to get an anime legend added to its ranks. That, as you can see above, is Kenshiro. The legendary hero from Fist of the North Star is indeed heading to South Town, and will soon be ready to rumble.
Kenshiro is officially a part of the latest season of downloadable content for the game, which was absolutely packed. We have to say “was”, because this upcoming addition represents the last of the offerings. As mentioned though, it was crowded, with the likes of Kim Jae Hoon, Blue Mary, Nightmare Geese, Wolfgang Krauser, and Mr. Karate all included. Kind of the coup de gras though, is Kenshiro, who’s rarely seen in video games these days.
He’ll be landing soon however, and will be arriving for purchase some time before the end of this month. As we head into that release though, SNK has dropped a launch trailer for you to check out, that’s loaded up with some of Kenshiro’s most devastating moves.
Quite honestly too, he kind of fits right in with City of the Wolves‘ aesthetic.
Three months after his landmark reveal at AnimeJapan 2026, the savior of the century’s end makes his way to unfamiliar surroundings. New threats loom in South Town, as a mysterious miasma hangs over the city. They don’t know it yet, but they’re already dead.
SNK press release
As mentioned, the Kenshiro DLC is coming soon for addition to Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves‘ roster. He should be out and ready for action in all versions of the game before the end of the month (June 2026), though an exact release date is still unknown.
