Recently out of Early Access on the PC, Forgive Me Father 2 is officially making the leap through the void to consoles this fall.
You are forgiven
We’re pretty big fans of what Fulqrum Publishing and developer Byte Barrel have done with Forgive Me Father. The original game set the stage for a retro FPS romp through its Lovecraft-inspired world, one that came complete with zombies, cosmic creeps, and monstrous bosses from the briny deep.
Forgive Me Father 2 expanded on all of that, with a deeper story and an even more varied set of locations. Now with the final version of the game emerged from Early Access on the PC (last October), it’s also set to be ported to consoles.
Fulqrum just revealed that, thanks to the supernatural blaster’s appearance at Steam’s Lovecraftian Days 2025. Lovecraft fans can expect to see Forgive Me Father 2 bring its squid-smashing action to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
Originally launched exclusively for PC, Forgive Me Father 2 is a critically acclaimed shooter that draws inspiration from various FPS subgenres, including classic boomer shooters like Quake and Doom. Combined with modern mechanics, unique visual style, and Unreal Engine 5 technology, Forgive Me Father 2 offers an action-packed retro-meets-cutting-edge love letter to all FPS fans.
