Might Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind brings the Rangers back to their beat ’em up roots

The original team is back, and so’s their arch-villain Rita Repulsa, in retro-actioner Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind.

Go, go Power Rangers!

Joining other properties like the TMNT, Streets of Rage, and Double Dragon, the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers are coming back for an all-new side-scroller. Hailing from Digital Eclipse, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind will dive into the original era of the monster fighting super-team, and present fans with a mix of gameplay, letting them “brawl, blast, fight, and drive” through a “constantly shifting mix of classic game genres and fan-favorite moments from the series”.

The title will support up to five players in co-op too, plus the ability to pilot the famous Zords. It’s all set to take place in an all-new time-twisting storyline, that’ll see players going head-to-head with not one, but two Rita Repulsa’s.
