Relive the biggest WrestleMania moments in WWE 2K24’s Showcase… of the Immortals

With the launch of WWE 2K24 on the horizon now, 2K has unleashed a special look at the grappler’s WrestleMania Showcase.

Well, almost all of the biggest moments

Okay that’s enough of that, we don’t want to steer this into controversy, as this story is still pretty awesome all by itself. And by that, we mean the reveal of WWE 2K24’s Showcase… of the Immortals. Longtime wrestling fans know exactly what that is, as the tag points to some of the biggest and most impactful moments in the history of the grandest stage – WrestleMania.

And yeah, although some of the moments you might’ve expected haven’t made the grade (no doubt due to outside issues), there’s plenty here to sink your teeth into. A total of 21 matches will be playable, spread out across five decades of WWE action, and you’d best believe that some of the biggest superstars of all time will be there, telling their stories to frame the playable action.

As usual with these kinds of modes, each successive match will unlock by completing the previous one. So you won’t be able to play Stone Cold vs Shawn Michaels, or Hulk Hogan vs Andre till you get through the Hitman vs Austin or The Dragon vs the Macho Man. But then, who’d want to?

Ready for action? The bell rings for WWE 2K24’s wide-release on March 5th or the 8th, depending on your territory and what version you pick. Here’s how all that shakes out:

• The Deluxe Edition will be available digitally worldwide, and physically in the US and select territories, on Tuesday, March 5, 2024*, and will be available physically for the rest of the world on Friday, March 8, 2024;
• The Forty Years of WrestleMania Edition will be available – in digital format only – worldwide on Tuesday, March 5, 2024;
• The Standard Edition and Standard Cross-Gen Digital Edition will be available worldwide on Friday, March 8, 2024.
