Murphy takes his job VERY seriously in the new live-action trailer for RoboCop: Rogue City

Loaded with iconic lines from the movies and the voice of Peter Weller, a new live action RoboCop: Rogue City trailer has arrived.

Drop it creep

Did you know that abandoning dog waste is against the law? How about littering and public urination? Well, they are… in some places at least, and Old Detroit is one such that’s under the protection of RoboCop, a cyborg lawman who isn’t standing for any of the above.

Pretty neat to see a live-action Robo in action again, even if he’s a little on the small side. Not that the video game version is, as he’s both looking and sounding impressive, thanks to the voice of original RoboCop actor Peter Weller.

Set in the time between the second and third movies, RoboCop: Rogue City stars Weller in the role he made famous, as he deals with The New Guy in Town. That’d be a brand new (obviously) villain who’s assembling some of Detroit’s roughest criminals and for some nefarious purposes. The New Guy is also trafficking RoboCop 2’s designer drug Nuke, and it seems like he might have a link to a familiar face from the past.

All of that adds up to trouble for Robo, and what looks to be a fun time for fans, as they step into the titanium boots of the cyborg. Ready for action? RoboCop: Rogue City is out today for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
