NYCC 23: Marvel reveals panels, teases booth events and more

Marvel will be hitting NYCC next month, with a panel program covering Spidey, superhero tabletop action, and more.

Here we go

Whelp, somehow it’s almost NYCC time once again. And just like last year, the big NYC con is back at full strength after the rough pandemic period. In with the piles of publishers attending, Marvel Comics is poised to have a solid showing, with a panel slate that almost matches what the publisher showcased at SDCC this past summer.

If you’re a fan of Spider-Man, the Avengers, and the rest of Marvel’s collection of heroes and villains, you stand a pretty good chance of finding something to check out. That includes a live play-through of the company’s tabletop game, looks at the latest Avengers and Spidey crossovers, and hints at what’s to come down the line (including with G.O.D.S.).

Glaring in omission though, is any kind of look at the blockbuster-to-be Spider-Man 2 PS5 game. We were pretty sure the latter at least would have some kind of presence, but there’s nothing on the schedule.

Though it’s a little disappointing, as we mentioned above there’s still plenty of fun to be had, and none of it is even including in-booth signings, giveaways, and exclusive items. Marvel says to stay tuned for news on that stuff as we get closer to the show.

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 12
