Although it’s been out in Early Access for a few days, Starfield is finally here for everybody, landing on Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Now it’s really full of stars
Certain versions of Starfield allowed for a full 6 days of advance play, but that period has come to a close and the title has officially landed at retail and on Game Pass. Sci-fi fans can dig into the Bethesda game’s massive galaxy of exploration and action today, and experience the first new universe from the company in a decade.
Starfield, the first new universe in over 25 years from Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning creators of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4, is available now worldwide on Xbox Series X|S and PC. In this next generation role-playing game set amongst the stars, create any character you want and explore with unparalleled freedom as you embark on an epic journey to answer humanity’s greatest mystery.
Bethesda press release
Along with the game’s arrival, Bethesda is also delivering the soundtrack. The OST is live right now, via “Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music and other streaming services”, and spins out of a collaboration between the studio and composer Inon Zur. The album begins with “Into The Starfield,” and closes out with “A Home in the Galaxy,” and according to Bethesda, “embodies the notion of exploration, mystery and the wonder of space.”
