Ghostrunner 2 opens up beta signups, “major announcements” set for later this month

Hit cyberpunk action title Ghostrunner is getting set to deliver a beta for its anticipated sequel, but there’s even more on the horizon.

If you missed out on Ghostrunner, it was one of the best cyberpunk-themed titles in recent years. Even overshadowing other, uh, similarly themed games at launch, the original Ghostrunner proved a hit with fans and critics for its fast action and parkour-heavy play.

Now 505 Games and developer One More Level are prepping that game’s direct sequel, with Ghostrunner 2 set for launch later this year. But before we get to that, there’s some beta testing to talk about. And of course, that’s something you’ll be able to get in on.

Just be forewarned that the game will be offering a closed beta, so you’ll have to sign-up for it ahead of time. That’s something you can do here, though publisher 505 Games says that slots will be “very limited”. So if you want in, get that link clicked and completed sooner than later. That’s not all of the Ghostrunner news today though, as there’s a special presentation coming up as well.

Targeted for Monday, August 21st, “the next major pieces of Ghostrunner 2 news” will be shared. There’s no time just yet for that stream, though 505 says that fans should follow both itself and Ghostrunner on social media to stay in the loop.
