Out of Early Access, Session: Skate Sim is ready to roll on consoles and PC

Ready to skate into a fresh skateboarding experience? The full release of NACON and creā-ture Studios’ Session: Skate Sim is finally here.

Skate or… you know the rest

With over 85% positive reviews on Steam, Session: Skate Sim has already been very well received by gamers for not being just “another” skateboarding game. It is a true-to-life simulation that recreates the skateboarding world and its culture. Development studio Crea-ture, whose team consists of nine passionate developers, has reproduced many iconic skate spots in the United States. Players can look forward to exploring all the best spots in Philadelphia, New York and San Francisco.

NACON press release

If you’re not up on Session, it’s got an interesting (mc)twist to it. The game presents each analog stick as one of the on-screen skater’s feet. Yeah, think about that for a second. It’s easy to see whereas this one might be one of the more innovative skateboarding titles in a long time.

The title counts some big names too, with 50 skate brands and a cast of 16 that includes Annie Guglia, Antiferg, Beagle, Billy Marks, Daewon Song, Dane Burman, Donovan Strain, Jahmir Brown, Louie Barletta, Manny Santiago, Mark Appleyard, Nora Vasconcellos, Ribs Man, Ryan Thompson, Samarria Brevard, and Torey Pudwill.

That’s plus a campaign mode, and a video editor, with the idea there being that fans to be able to crank out their own 90s-era skate vids. Actually, the whole title is pretty 90s themed, which is something that creā-ture Studios went all-in on.

Ready to hit the park? You can find Session: Skate Sim on Xbox and PlayStation platforms, as well as the PC (via both Steam and Epic) right now.
