No mercy. Cobra Kai 2: Dojos Rising arrives this fall

The saga of the Karate Kid and Cobra Kai continues this fall with Cobra Kai 2: Dojos Rising. Get ready to strike first sometime soon on consoles and PC.

It’s still an illegal move

Cobra Kai remains one of the biggest hits on Netflix, and fr and away one of the coolest continuations of a classic film series. Of course that series is Karate Kid, and CK has more than successfully brought that property back to make it arguably more popular than ever.

Along with the show, Cobra Kai is also about to become a video game series. With a first go in the bag for some time, the sequel will be landing this fall, and will include more martial arts action. As with he first installment too, Cobra Kai 2: Dojos Rising will bring things into a more fantastical arena, with plenty of classic fighting game flair.

The game will be loaded up with 28 characters from the show, including “Hammer, Bo, Gabriel, Skeleton Lord, and even Terry Silver”. Additionally, players will be able to train new students via the Eagle Fang, Cobra Kai, or Miyagi-Do dojos.

And the resulting fights will be waged across the likes of Valley Fest, the High School, L.A. Beach, Coyote Creek, and more locales “inspired” by the show. But it’s not just a story mode either, as you’ll be able to replay moments from Cobra Classics, and also fight through a tournament if you like, for the All Valley Championship.

There’s no release date just yet for Cobra Kai 2: Dojos Rising. You can expect to see the game arrive some time this fall however, for Xbox and PlayStation platforms, as well as the Switch and PC. Pre-orders are open right now.

While you’re waiting too, don’t forget that Season 5 of Cobra Kai is landing on Netflix tomorrow, September 9th.
