Well, it’s better late than never I guess. LEGO Marvel Super Heroes is on the way to the Nintendo Switch for a little portable kit-building/evil-bashing.

When did LEGO Marvel Super Heroes (it really bothers me that’s two words) first launch? Believe it or not, it was all the way back in 2013. Yes, that was almost a decade ago, though keep in mind it’s a LEGO game. How much could it have aged really?
Maybe that’s what Warner Bros is thinking too, since someone at the publisher or developer TT Games seems to have realized that they never ported the title over to the Switch. And this October, they’re set to remedy that little oversight.
The game will finally make its way to the console, bringing all of the original release with it. Over 100 Marvel characters will be unlockable and playable, as well as locales like “Stark Tower, the X-Mansion, Asteroid M, and Asgard”.
Plus both the Super Pack and Asgard Pack will be included as a part of the standard release. That adds in a bunch of additional content, including Winter Soldier, Dark Phoenix, The Warriors Three, and Sif.
- LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Super Pack: Get ready for brick-smashing action with more Super Heroes and Super Villains, plus new vehicles and races. Play as fan favourites Dark Phoenix, Winter Soldier, Symbiote Spider-Man, Hawkeye, Falcon, and Beta Ray Bill.
- LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Asgard Pack: Wreak havoc as the vengeful Malekith and the villainous LEGO Figure, Kurse. Play as Jane Foster and the shield-maiden of Asgard, Sif. Defend the Universe with Odin and the Warriors Three: Volstagg, Hogun, and Fandral.
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes is scheduled to arrive on the Switch on October 8th, 2021.
