Michael Cho to get own two-tone cover series from Marvel

Longtime comic book artist Michael Cho will be getting his own lineup of variant covers from Marvel, and they’ll be presented in striking form.

Mikey Two-tone

Michael Cho’s might not be the most immediately recognizable name in comics, but it probably should be. That is, if the latest slate of variant covers is anything to go by.

The collection will feature the work of Cho, an illustrator who has done variant comic covers here and there. He seems to be more of a (book) publishing industry mainstay however, though that might change. This new set of covers is just that cool.

Crafted to showcase Marvel’s biggest heroes in their most iconic and “timeless” incarnations, it’s a visually arresting series. Marvel’s coolest slate in a while? Yeah, I’d say so, especially if you like the classics.

Award-winning artist Michael Cho will bring some of Marvel’s most iconic heroes to life on a series of extraordinary variant covers this March. Done in his trademark two-tone style, these vibrant covers capture Marvel’s heroes at their most timeless versions. The two-tone variant covers will grace your favorite ongoing series this March, featuring one-of-a-kind depictions of Ant-Man, Wasp, Black Panther, Captain America, Black Widow, Doctor Strange, Hulk, Spider-Man, Thor, and Spider-Woman.

“It was a privilege and a joy to draw iconic images of the classic Marvel heroes, in the way that I remembered them from childhood,” Cho said.

Expect to see the above hit stores this coming March.
