Get in the Halloween mood (and pick up a few creepy goodies) at Megalopolis

One of the internet’s hottest new destinations for collector-grade toys, Megalopolis has prepped a list of some of their scariest stock for Halloween.

Mega-ween

I’ve bought stuff from a few of the major collectible retailers online. Honestly, I’m usually pretty pleased with the service. What you’d call the ‘big two’ (I guess), has done well by me. But I have to add that Megalopolis is rapidly climbing my charts.

Coming from seemingly nowhere this past summer, Megalopolis includes bonus items in every order (like stress-ball replicas of their mascot), and has a points system. So you can actually accrue rewards with purchases, not unlike Sideshow Toys’ setup. Unlike Sideshow though, Megalopolis carries a lot more than super-high-end statues and 12″ figures. They stock pretty much all the biggest lines, and a few pretty niche ones too, from Marvel Legends to Acid Rain.

And now they’ve got a little something for Halloween.

The retailer has set up a list of their most terrifying items for your perusal. It’s a one-stop shop for horror, sci-fi, and general Halloweeniness. On it you’ll find stuff like NECA’s Ultimate Jason, Pennywise, and Evil Dead 2-pack, as well as McFarlane’s Stranger Things Demogorgon. There are pre-orders there too, like the Ghostbusters 4-pack from Mezco, and even a prop replica of Freddy’s glove from A Nightmare on Elm Street.

Aside from the points, the bonuses, and the “white glove” treatment, you can also nab a special gift. If you order over $50 worth of items off of the Halloween list, you’ll get a random horror-themed Madball included for free. And you get one with every order over $50 by the way. So, you know…

Check them out here, and have a very happy, collector-friendly Halloween.
