Icon Heroes launches line of Karate Kid bobbleheads

Fans of Karate Kid and Coba Kai take note, Icon Heroes has a lineup of bobbleheads coming up that you might want to check out.

For a franchise that’s fairly resurgent, Karate Kid really doesn’t have a ton of merchandise out there. There are plenty of t-shirts around, but beyond that what is there? Not too much honestly. Well that is changing with Icon Heroes newest announcement.

The company will be launching a series of bobblehead figures based on the original film in the series. I think it’s safe to say that that’s easily the best-loved movie out of all of them. The original Karate Kid introduced us to Daniel Larusso, Mister Miyagi, and of course Johnny Lawrence. Those characters will make up this first wave of bobbleheads too.

Yep, while the first film has led into a new YouTube series that’s gotten raves, this set of bobblers is based on that 1984 original. As a cool little homage too, each figure will be limited to 1,984 pieces as a tribute to where the saga began.

All three stand in at about 8″ tall, and will be both hand-sculpted and painted. Watch for the full set to be made available starting in quarter 1, 2019. No word on a price tag just yet.
