Toy Fair 2016: LEGO chills out with new Attack on Hoth set

The coolest (sorry) Star Wars set in a long time, Attack on Hoth is massive and loaded with features and scenes from the movie.

It’s big, it’s bold, and it’s basically 7 or 8 sets in one- it’s the LEGO Star Wars: Attack on Hoth set. Freshly announced at this past Toy Fair, we just got a bunch of images for the set in, and really couldn’t in good conscience keep them from you. If you’re a Star Wars fan, then you’re clear to start drooling.

As you can see from the shots, the set includes some stuff that has been released in the past as smaller kits, namely the Rebel fortifications and the Wampa Cave (I think- I definitely remember the front line) . Everything looks different though, and even if you already have some of the smaller sets, you’re probably not going to find anything here that looks identical.

And let’s be honest; there’s an Ion Cannon. Who doesn’t want that?

We don’t have a release date or price for this one yet, but you can definitely expect to see it hitting retail some time this year, and it’s probably going to be up there in price. Again though, Ion Cannon. Loads of images in the gallery below.
