Season 3 of Tekken 8 coming, will add Kunimitsu, Bob and more

There’s a whole new season of action coming to Bandai Namco’s Tekken 8. The game will add Kunimitsu, Bob, Roger Jr., and more.

What about Bob? Yep, he’s coming to Tekken 8 too

It’s always exciting to see who’ll be included in a new season of content for a fighting game. That wasn’t always the case of course. But as gaming has gotten more ‘DLC-centric’, the genre has fallen in love with adding fighters to games, post-launch. Announcements for Tekken downloadable content is maybe a little bigger than usual too, given the deep history of the series. After all, there are a load of characters to pick from.

Now, Bandai Namco’s Tekken 8 has already had a beefy collection of add-on fighters, that’ve rumbled across two seasons. But yes, there’s more on the way. Season 3 will open up as the game celebrates its second anniversary of release, and bring in both deep cuts and fan-faves.

A fighter we’d say is in the “fan-fave” department, Kunimitsu will lead things off, arriving for the game this spring. After the mystic ninja lands, Bob will follow things up, rolling into Tekken 8 this summer. Then it’s boxing-kangaroo time, as Roger Jr. looks to land some shots this fall.

As usual, there will be four DLC fighters, and we didn’t forget one. As of today though, that last combatant is still a mystery, so stay tuned for more.

The Season 3 Pass will be available for purchase starting on February 10, 2026, with Kunimitsu, the first Season 3 character, arriving in Late Spring 2026. Purchasing the Season 3 Pass grants access to all four planned characters with 120 hours of early access, as well as a new stage, which will be detailed at a later date. The exclusive Character Costume: Aurora Outfit Pack is also included and will be available for download from February 10, 2026.

Bandai Namco press release

As you can see above, Season 3 debuts for all versions of Tekken 8 on February 10th, 2026, with Kunimitsu.
