Straight from Unforgiven, comes Sideshow’s William Munny figure

From the iconic 90s western Unforgiven, comes Sideshow’s latest Clint Eastwood figure, with William Munny.

It’s a hell of a thing

Sideshow’s entire Clint Eastwood lineup has been a “hell of thing”, to quote William Munny himself. While almost the legendary actor’s career has produced iconic role after iconic role, there’s been precious few collectible items produced from really any of it.

The high-end toy maker has seen to that though, with a series of killer looking 12″ figures based on some of Eastwood’s biggest roles. So far we’ve seen Dirty Harry, The Preacher, and The Man With No Name, and now there’s another western tough guy on tap.

That, as you can see from the above, is William Munny, a character made famous by Eastwood in 1992’s Unforgiven. A film that arrived in the midst of a near complete dearth of big screen westerns, Unforgiven showed movie-goers that the genre was far from finished. Naturally a big part of its success was Eastwood, who’s weathered, gun-slinging Munny was an instant hit.

Sideshow’s figure will be coming up before the end of this year, and looks suitably great.

William Munny wears a custom-tailored fabric outfit that replicates the character’s layered wardrobe down to every screen-accurate detail. Sideshow’s tailors were granted access to the original screen-worn wardrobe by Eastwood himself — allowing them to bring a new level of authenticity to this deluxe collectible. The figure is dressed in weathered black pants, a red collared shirt, a black neckerchief, a faux-leather belt, and a duster jacket with two colored buttons as seen in the film. A pair of sculpted boots with spurs completes the figure’s detailed look. Munny can be displayed with or without his jacket, and the gun holster around his waist can be removed as well.

This highly articulated figure comes with two revolvers, a double-barreled shotgun, a rifle, a whiskey bottle, and a whiskey glass, allowing fans to recreate their favorite scenes.
