Nintendo Download: On the Hunt for Glory!

Nintendo highlights Star Wars: Hunters for the second week, along with the summer update for Hogwarts Legacy and more.

Is this kinda weird or is it us?

It sure does seem as though Nintendo is doubling up, and spotlighting games across multiple weeks on the Nintendo Download. We started seeing this a few months back, and now it’s happened again with Star Wars: Hunters. An arena-shooter, Star Wars: Hunters went one sale earlier this week, on June 4th, and so was included in the previous week’s “Nintendo Download” press release.

And yet, here we are again, with the same title being the spotlighted game for this new edition of the Download. We suppose it’s pretty easy to see why. We’re heading into the summer lull after all, that delivers a slim selection of big names. Of course that period comes around every year, so it’s nothing new, though this tactic certainly is. It should be highlighted however, that there’s a decent amount of other additions this week outside of the aforementioned.

The Nintendo Switch also sees the new update for Hogwarts Legacy, which adds in a Photo Mode, the ability to reset Talent Tree Points, and “more”. Not sold on the wizarding world? Well, then you might find something to get in the lengthy list of smaller launches, which include a bunch of Valis ports, Rocket Knight Adventures: Re-Sparked, The Smurfs, and a bunch more.
