Revealed at today’s Nintendo Direct, Aspyr has the Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection inbound for modern consoles and PC.
To the front
While there have been Battlefront games in (kinda) recent years, the series hasn’t really reached the heights of its legacy. Originally released in 2004, Star Wars: Battlefront and its sequel brought large scale, online battles to fans of the saga, catching fire with the fanbase. And not both games will look to do just that once again, next month.
Aspyr and Lucasfilm Games have teamed up to make that happen, bringing the classics back in the Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection. And yes, these are coming with all the trimmings, including online and offline play, 64 player (online) support, “expansions to Hero Assault mode”, all of the games’ released bonus content, and Steam Deck support for the PC edition.
