Sideshow unwraps another original statue series with Pulp Vixens: Mr. Sin

Here’s something all together new and more than a little groovy. Pulp Vixens is Sideshow’s latest original series of collector statues.

Hey, that’s pulpy

Sideshow Collectibles might be best known for the work that it does with some of the biggest licenses on Earth. But that little fact doesn’t mean that the company likes to play it safe. Actually, it’s just the opposite, as Sideshow also has a solid (and growing) set of original lines.

The latest of those, having just been announced today, is Pulp Vixens. “Pulp” is the name and theme of the game here, as the line will include a series of collector pieces that takes place in what looks to be a wholly new Bond-esque universe.

“Mr. Sin” is the first statue in the lineup, and will tell it’s own tale of murder most macabre, and feature a starlet-turned-spy who’s out to make things right.

Enter a world of espionage and excitement with Pulp Vixens by Sideshow. Episode 1: “Mr. Sin” pits a stunning starlet-turned-spy against a casino tycoon with a sinister secret.

All eyes are on actress Ursula Strand in the Pulp Vixens: Mr. Sin Premium Format™ Figure, as she delves into the hidden laboratory of the wealthy Walter Chi-Jun Sin. What she uncovers there will shock and disturb the senses!

This detailed collectible statue captures the very moment Ursula’s investigation is cut short by the arrival of Mr. Sin himself. Dressed in antique silks, the blonde bombshell crouches over one of Sin’s occult books, searching the lab for evidence connecting him to a string of grisly murders. Her guard is up and her gun is raised as the sound of footsteps echoes in the distance — could this be curtains for Ursula?

Sideshow press release

Ushering in the line, Mr. Sin is set to present a pretty impressive footprint. The piece will stand in at 24″ tall x 13.15″ wide x 16″ deep and feature loads of detail, framing secret agent Ursula as she creeps through the title villain’s “subterranean laboratory”.

Pulp Vixens: Mr Sin is set to launch sometime between May and August of this year, and is priced in at $645 USD. Hit the link above if you’d like to secure yours.

Into the deep

While Mr. Sin will be kicking things off for Pixel Vixens, we’ve already got a look at its followup. That will come in the form of Pulp Vixens Episode 2: “Deep Down”, a piece that features the submerged adventures of agent Hawana Kalili, codename Dancer.

While we have the preview images, Deep Down doesn’t have a release date just yet. Nevertheless, you can RSVP for more info right now, and right here.
