An onslaught of Tekken 8 trailers arrive from the World Tour Finals

From the opening movie of the game itself, to a three-pack of character detailing videos, check out what’s new from Tekken 8.

The Iron Fist draws near

Yes Tekken fans, we’re almost there. Bandai Namco’s Tekken 8 is careening towards a January 26th release date, which is just a few weeks off. And if you’ve been following along, then you know that the publisher has been dropping new character videos every week to build anticipation.

Well, this week is going to be a little bit different, because while we have a character video for you, we also have two more of them and the opening movie itself. So grab some refreshment, get comfy, and start hitting ‘play’ on the videos below.

“Fist Meets Fate” in the TEKKEN 8 storyline, and the Opening Movie sets up this next chapter in the Mishima-Kazama feud, which now threatens all of humanity. See the epic trailer featuring numerous fan-favorite characters and unveiling the  first DLC character Eddy Gordo, who will be joining the roster this spring.

The adopted son of Heihachi Mishima, Lee Chaolon now manages the global humanoid manufacturer, Violet Systems. Lee has invested in a next-gen battle suit perfect for close-range combat that will act as a trump card against the enemy’s impenetrable armor.

Alisa is an android created by Doctor Bosconovitch with the sole purpose of protecting Jin Kazama. As part of the rebel army, she chooses to fight alongside Lars Alexandersson with her head turning Thruster-Based High-Mobility fighting style.

Zafina is a warrior born into a family of exorcists using her spiritual abilities to earn a living as an astrologist. However, the clash between Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima resurrected Azazel, the devil that was sealed by Zafina’s family for generations. To prevent Azazel from being resurrected again, she sealed his indestructible spirit in her left arm which enhances her Ancient Assassination Arts fighting style.
