A star of more than one Bandai Namco fighting game, Yoshimitsu returns for another go-around with the Iron fist in Tekken 8.
Space ninja!
A veteran of every Tekken game, Yoshimitsu is indeed back, and looking like a high-tech super-ninja. Of course, in addition to his almost alien-looking battle suit, he’s also sporting the very-cursed blade that shares his name.
If you’ve ever played Tekken before, then you know what to expect with this guy.
Next on the roster is Yoshimitsu, leader of the Manji Clan, a group of chivalrous thieves, and inheritor of the Manji style of Ninjutsu. Yoshimitsu wields The Cursed Blade Yoshimitsu, a blade corrupted by the demonic aura that legend says come from exorcisms performed by the Mishimas. Clan elders teach him how to suppress the cursed sword’s malevolence, if only barely. Still, the blade calls out to him.

If you’re unaware, Bandai Namco is dropping character trailers every week til launch, so make sure you keep your eyes open to catch ’em all. As for the game itself, that’ll be along on January 26th, 2024, for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
