Nintendo Download: Right This Sway

Following on Mario’s heels is no easy task, but the Switch serves up Just Dance, Dave the Diver, Gungrave, and more this week.

It’s-a-new games

Yeah it’s true. Most of the biggest releases for the Switch this Holiday season are officially in the bag. Last week she Sonic Superstars and Super Mario Bros Wonder arrive, leaving next month’s revisiting of Super Mario RPG as the last piece of the “Holiday 2023” puzzle. But that’s the biggest, blockbuster stuff that we’re talking about, and there’s plenty more en route to Nintendo’s console outside of triple-A launches.

This week the console delivers some more niche stuff, but that’s not to say that it’s not worth your time. Just Dance 2024 Edition is the next drop for what’s a pretty big time series in its own right, and Dave the Diver brings an indie (sorta) title to the console that captured imaginations on the PC not that long ago.

And if you’re looking for something a little more action-y, then there’s Gungrave GORE. Landing on other platforms in 2022, Gungrave GORE brings the anime hero back from the dead for a new adventure, with completely insane gunplay in tow. It’s not the deepest of things, but if you’re looking for some mindless action, it might fit the bill.
