It’s finally time to claim the throne of ancient Egypt, as Sega and The Creative Assembly’s Total War: Pharaoh has arrived.

A long-awaited addition to the Total War series, Pharaoh puts players in the sandals of a challenger for the throne of the New Kingdom. The newly-released strategy title is in a time of turmoil, with various factions all vying for power as the sitting pharaoh’s health fails.

It’s is a story inspired by real-world history, featuring multiple possible play-styles, dynamic weather systems, and even a bit of the gods of Egypt themselves. Here’s your launch-look at Total War: Pharaoh, as the Bronze Age collapses into the sand.
