Chris Berman walks you through a bumblin’ stumblin’ good time in Wild Card Football

An iconic sports voice, ESPN’s Chris Berman shows off one of the craziest football games ever with Wild Card Football.

Tumblin’? Fumblin’?

If you’re a sports fan of really any ilk, then you probably know the name and voice of Chris Berman. The personality and announcer has become synonymous with ESPN’s brand in particular, and lends his talents to the newest look at Wild Card Football.

Upcoming from Saber Interactive, the football game is one that will run more along the lines of arcade classics than set-top box sims. Fans can expect multiplayer, exhibition and season modes, as well as way out customization options and the titular Wild Cards.

There’ll be 150 of those, and they’ll shake up gameplay big time, with stuff like stat-boosts and even “summoning walls or invisibility”. Yeah Wild Card Football isn’t exactly worried about league rules, but that doesn’t mean it won’t serve up a top notch talent pool to assemble your team with.

The game was crafted in cooperation with the NFL Players Association and OneTeam Partners, and stars “hundreds” of pros. Fans can look for the likes of “Colin Kaepernick, Jalen Hurts, Patrick Mahomes, Justin Jefferson, T.J. Watt, Joey Bosa, Austin Ekeler, Aaron Donald” and many more.

Here’s a look:

Ready to play? Wild Card Football is almost here, and will drop on October 10th, 2023. Fans can look for it on Xbox and PlayStation consoles, as well as the Switch and the PC.
