Ubisoft reveals new editions, free trial for stunning racer The Crew Motorfest

Rev up your engines and head out on the highways (and dirt roads) of Ubisoft’s gorgeous new racer The Crew Motorfest.

Peddle to the metal

If you haven’t been paying attention to Ubisoft’s upcoming racer The Crew Motorfest, you might want to. The digital-only title will put players in the driver’s seats of a series of luxury vehicles, expanding the world of The Crew and sending players racing on everything from sleek, urban roadways to muddy jungle passes.

As you can see there, the game is looking flat-out stunning. And it’s coming up fast too, with a mid-September launch planned for consoles and PC, complete with some nifty pre-order incentives for those who might want to dig into its Gold or Ultimate editions.

Ordering either version will grant players an early start, allowing play three days in advance of everyone else, on September 11th. That’s in addition to some in-game bonuses too, with the “American Muscles activities” and the “Liberty Walk pack”.

On top of all of this, there’s also set to be a demo of sorts. That’ll be debuting right at launch, delivering a time-limited, five-hour trial that’ll be available from September 14th though the 17th. Any “progression and items unlocked”during the trial will be retained by the full version too, should you pick that up after trying it out.

Speaking of that full version, The Crew Motorfest will be available for Xbox and PlayStation platforms, as well as the PC.
